Grandma Says..

Observations and views from a different set of eyes

About Grandma Says…

This blog is my attempt to express my views, observations and thoughts on just about any subject that tickles my fancy. I live in Florida, am on Social Security (at last) and am primary caregiver for my SO. Blogging is the road to sanity for me!

If I make you laugh, make you tear-up, make you think or even make you mad, then I have accomplished my goal.  Follow me on my journey through the scary, and usually interesting thoughts that occupy this old noggin.  You might like the ride!

  2. Hello,

I was wondering if you would be interested in being tagged in a “blog hop”. I’ve been tagged by another blogger/writer, and sent a list of 9 questions about writing habits. The idea is that I would do a blog post with at least 4 out of the 10 questions/answers, and tag three other people, then a week or so later those three would post their Q&A on their blogs and tag 3 more.

Please let me know if you’re interested. If so, then I’ll let you know when I publish my post that tags you, and you can take it from there. And completely cool if it’s not something you can do.

    And here are the questions:
    BLOG HOP QUESTIONS

Answer at least four questions. You can answer as many as you want on your own blog. Then tag three writing friends.

    1. What are you working on right now?
    2. How does it differ from other works in its genre?
    3. What experiences have influenced you?
    4. Why do you write what you do?
    5. How does your writing process work?
    6. What is the hardest part about writing?
    7. What would you like to try as a writer that you haven’t yet?
    8. Who are the authors you most admire?
    9. What scares you?

  3. I happened upon your blog today. I am looking forward to reading more. I’m a fan of Grandmothers. 🙂 My children miss theirs and mine was my hero. I look forward to being one someday, as well. 🙂

    Bonjour Madame Cranky

I’ve got my seat belt firmly fastened and have added a crash helmet and knee pads for extra protection.

So this grumpy (only on the outside) old man is looking forward to sharing the ride with you. From what l’ve seen so far it should be both inspiring and rewarding.

    Regards

    Dan
P.S. Your Birthday story made me smile – not an easy thing to do first thing in the morning.

Welcome and thanks for stopping in! I’m pedaling your way now and will be sure to say hello!

I’m glad you liked my little story. I did actually have a perfect day…once everyone woke up!

Again, welcome to the lighter side of Cranky!

Been missing your blog, girl. Where have you been? Has school gotten the best of you? I was absent for awhile as well, but am trying to get back to it. Hope this finds you well.

What is the deal??? Are you too busy with school to whip out a blog post? Or are you too bored and need some inspiration from your favorite Worthless Advice blogger (that would be me!!). Come on over to the Dark Side….
